Acne Treatment

Teens or not! You should remember these useful tips when dealing with acne.

Acne are different types of bumps on skin (found on the face, neck, shoulders, upper back and chest), be it blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, or cysts.

Acne on your face? Admit it or not, your acne draws more attention when people started speaking with you! Even though acne is considered a normal part of puberty, it still doesn’t make it easy to look at.

So here are some useful tips to deal with acne better:

1. Do not ever touch a pimple, pick at it, or squeeze it - even if it’s tempting! Touching it would only cause even more inflammation and picking at it would leave tiny, permanent scars.

2. Wash your face gently 2 x a day with mild soap and warm water to help prevent the buildup of oil that can contribute to acne.

3. Keep your hair from your face. If you’re a girl: you can tie your hair neatly with the use of a ponytail or just keep it in place with your barrette or headband. If you’re a boy: you should keep your hair short.

 4. French fries or pizza, eating chocolate, or drinking soft drinks (Although acne

isn’t directly caused by eating greasy foods) — these foods MAY aggravate the condition of existing acne. Might as well control your intake of these types of food.
